Xyte’s Connect+ Edge Solution Extends Unified Device Management to Include Devices on Local Networks

Mountain View, California – April 15, 2025  – Xyte, developer of the first all-in-one cloud platform for device manufacturers and system integrators, today announced the launch of Connect+ Edge, an innovative solution that expands device visibility and management for all devices, including those on local networks, within a single interface. With Connect+ Edge, businesses can reduce downtime, prevent costly repairs, and proactively address performance issues for their entire device fleet - whether cloud- or locally connected - through a single, comprehensive platform.

"Finally, comprehensive enterprise-level device management is here," said Omer Brookstein, CEO and cofounder of Xyte. "Connect+, now combined with the power and reach of Connect+ Edge, gives businesses full control over their device fleets - whether cloud-connected or local - by providing a unified platform that simplifies operations, enhances reliability, and reduces costs."

An Expansion of Connect+

Connect+ Edge complements Xyte’s Connect+ ecosystem, which offers a unified interface to streamline the management of AV, UC, and IT devices, rooms, and spaces, all while connecting manufacturers, integrators, MSPs, and in-house AV teams. Xyte Connect+ allows in-house teams and system integrators to oversee devices from multiple brands from anywhere in the world through a single interface, eliminating the need for multiple cloud environments. With Connect+ Edge, devices that were previously reachable only on local networks can now be monitored and managed through the cloud.

“With this expanded ability, enterprises can now access detailed insights across their entire device fleet,” Brookstein added. “With the robust management tools and insights available through Connect+ and now together with Connect+ Edge, in-house teams and integrators will be able to reduce downtime, prevent costly repairs, and ensure operational continuity.

Connect+ Edge supports multiple protocols (HTTP, SNMP, IPMI, Telnet, SSH, JMX) and includes automated driver updates. Additional Connect+ Edge features in the works include automated edge failover to ensure system redundancy and reliability and automated device discovery.

Xyte will be demonstrating its Connect+ Edge solution at InfoComm 2025 (Booth 3153). Book a meeting with Xyte at InfoComm.
